{{Prime Minister Dr. Pierre Damien Habumuremyi urged Bank of Kigali (BK) to discourage citizens from travelling with large sums of money.}}
Dr. Habumuremyi commended BK for its electronic cards ATM service, which allows customers to not carry large sums of money and make the easy withdrawals.
“Educate your customers to use these machines. In case you have some difficulties, do not hesitate to ask us to support you. It will be a contribution you provide to the efforts of government as well as to create a business environment in the country, “said the Prime Minister .
BK Bank contributes to development of the country to the tune of 31.9% followed by Banque Populaire with 17.8%, according to the Record compiled by the National Bank of Rwanda.
The Prime Minister also insisted on the creation of jobs for young people.
He showed that the pyramid of the Rwandan population is made up of 70% of young people; most of them are seeking employment.
