During his stay in Rwanda, he is expected to hold talks with President Paul Kagame and visit Kigali Genocide Memorial.
President Kagame and his counterpart Umaro last met in February 2022 at the inauguration of Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Dakar, the capital of Senegal.
Umaro comes to Rwanda few days after nullifying a coup plot attempt to overthrow him.
