President Museveni’s Father Dies at 97

{{Amos Kaguta(above), the father to Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni died Friday morning at International Hospital Kampala, state owned New Vision reported.}}

Details of Kaguta’s death are still unknown but what is certain is that he died at EAT 7.00am.

“Fellow Ugandans, Mzee Amos Kaguta, my father, rested this morning at exactly 0700 hours. He was 97 and had been sick for some time. ……. We salute his contribution. I will say more about him in the obituary,” President Museveni, today, at his country home in Rwakitura.

Museveni had described his father before as a man of both character and discplinary instincts.

Burial arrangements for the deceased are underway.
