President Paul Kagame will attend the 5th forum on African security (Tana High Level Forum on Security) to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 16th and 17th April, 2016 in Bahir Dar of Amhara, North-West of Addis Ababa.
The president will offer a talk on African development using Rwanda as an example of a country which has embraced fast development with a target of becoming the base of technology as spelt out by CPAFRICA.
The 5th Tana High Level Forum on Security will be attended by dignitaries including the former president of Nigeria who is the head of Tana High Level Forum on Security, Olusegun Obasanjo andthe former UN Secretary General , Koffi Annan.
The upcoming Tana High Level Forum on Security brings together heads of state and governments from Africa, leaders of corporate organizations in the region, civil society, private investors and experts among others.
The forum focuses on African security and seeks own solutions for Africa security instead of depending on the guidance of foreigners.
The previous session of this forum discussed how churches should not engage in political affairs.
