{President Paul Kagame has today officially opened CHIC Complex, a commercial building in Kigali Central Business District, and commended 56 entrepreneurs who invested in the property, creating commercial space and adding to the city’s evolving skyline. }
CHIC is located near former ETO Muhima along Statistics Road.
As he officially inaugurated the building, president Kagame lauded the investors who pooled efforts to construct the plaza.
“Thanks for bringing your investment. That is how transformations are attained,” he said.
The Complex was built at a cost of Rwf 20 billion by an association of 56 Rwandans running various businesses under Champion Investment Corporation (CHIC).
President Kagame lauded them for that sense of cooperation.
“I thank you for joining efforts; this is how development is attained. People reach tangible progress when their efforts together,” he said adding; “No person will come from outside to build Rwanda for us.This has created room for more commercial activities.”
The president has also inaugurated another building, Kigali Heights, in Kimihurura, a plush leafy Kigali suburb, which has been completed at a cost of Rwf 30 billion.
Kigali Heights is located opposite Kigali Convention Center.
