{President Paul Kagame has met the prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces during the visit of UAE where they held bilateral talks about improving the cooperation between Rwanda and UAE.

President Kagame was welcomed by Sheikh Mohamed and discussed about the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as the way of widening cooperation particularly in boosting economy, business and investments.
Talks were held in the palace of Al Bahr and were attended by more leaders of United Arab Emirates including security allies, education officers, public affairs and development.
Rwanda has a good cooperation with United Arab Emirates as reflected in the projects of infrastructures and commerce among others.
Five United Arab funds including OFID, BADEA, Koweit Fund, Saudi Fund and Abu Dhabi Fund will provide the loan of USD 75 million to construct Nyagatare-Rukomo road with 15 million USD contributed from each fund.
