President Kagame will join global leaders from business and government for the two day Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
This unprecedented conference since the election of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will see the launch of a four year investment program aimed at enabling Egypt to generate employment and fulfill its economic potential. The gathering will also serve as an opportunity to showcase reforms that have restored fiscal stability as well as involve investors into shaping future reforms that will attract investment and drive growth. Key sectors to be discussed include oil and gas, housing, transportation, mining, tourism, ICT and agriculture. In addition, Egyptian Youth, SMEs and Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to share ideas and interact with conference delegates.
Other participants of the Egypt Economic Development Conference will include the King of Barhain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Jordan, Abdullah II of Jordan, President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan, President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta of Mali and US Secretary of State, John Kerry.
The EEDC will be held at the Sharm El-Sheikh International Congress Center on 13-14 March 2015.
