President Kagame expected in Kampala for the 7th Northern Corridor Summit

{Regional leaders Uhuru Kenyatta, Paul Kagame and Salva Kiir are next week expected in Uganda for the 7th Northern Corridor Integration Summit, IGIHE has learned from Chimp Corps report.}

The Northern Corridor is the transport corridor linking the landlocked countries of Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan and Burundi to Kenya’s Maritime Port of Mombasa.

The transport corridor also serves Democratic Republic of Congo and Northern Tanzania.

Officials say the Northern Corridor Integration Projects initiative is designed to generate sustainable political will necessary to fast track the implementation of the projects identified.
