Police Staff Enrol for Hospitality Training

{{Eighty (80) staff from the Rwanda National Police (RNP) registered for training in Hospitality at Remera Hospitality Academy. }}

Out of the 80 staff, 20 will train in culinary Art, 30 in Food & Beverage, and 30 will receive training in service delivery (customer care).

Training in all the three categories will cover a minimum period of three months and a maximum of six months depending on the standard that will satisfy the trainers.

The trainees were accompanied by the RNP officer in charge of training Chief Inspector of Police Steven Rukumba who commended the existing partnership between them and Workforce Development Authority.

In a session to brief them about the training program, WDA’s Director for partnerships Didier Munezero encouraged trainees to use this opportunity in acquiring recommendable skills for the labour market and to pass them on to other people wherever they may be.

This program aims at enhancing technical and vocational skills among the police force as regards hospitality while delivering services especially in the officers’ and when on peacekeeping operations.
