Police Recovers Stolen Money

{{Police recovered one million francs yesterday after an intensive operation. The money had been stolen from Elina Nyirahabumugisha’s motor spare parts shop in Kimisagara, a suburb in Kigali City.}}

Stratton Ndagijimana, a mechanic, who is now being held by Police, stole two million francs from Nyirahabumugisha’s shop. He was arrested after spending one million.

Central Region Police Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Urbain Mwiseneza said Ndagijimana will be taken to court, but advised traders not to keep such large volume of cash in their shops.

Meanwhile, Police in Kibungo town arrested Regis Mvunabandi, Didier Dede and Niyonteze for allegedly breaking into INATEK (Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo)

administration and stealing a laptop and digital camera. Police has already recovered the laptop and the camera.
