{{Police has arrested a prime suspect in the recent mysterious murder of a CHUK physician Dr. Radjabu Mbukani 37, who had gone missing for several days.}}
Louise Muhire was a wife of the deceased doctor, with whom they had two daughters.
Police investigations indicated that miss Muhire had earlier attempted several times to end the life of the doctor and had been arrested twice in connection with attempting to kill the doctor.
When Doctor Mbukani went missing on December 29, his body was later discovered hanging on a tree in Kanyinya a suburb in Kigali city.
Muhire and Dr. Mbukani had a sour relationship. on the fateful day, its said Muhire telephoned the doctor telling him that their daughters were sick and that he should come and visit them..however, when the doctor visited, he never returned.
Its also alleged that at Muhires house there were two unidentified men.
Police examination on the body showed that the Doctor had been strangled and later hanged onto a tree.
Superintendent Theos Badege, the Police spokesperson, was quoted by NewTimes sunday edition,“Muhire had earlier threatened to kill Mbukani. She is now in Police custody as investigations continue.”
Supt. Badege adds that Muhire is believed to have not acted alone and the hunt for the other suspects is ongoing.
Dr.Mbukani doubled as a lecturer of medicine at the National University of Rwanda.
