Moussa Sadiki, 20 was arrested at his residence in Jenda Sector where the narcotics were also recovered.
Sadiki’s arrest followed a tip-off from area residents who notified the police of his dirty acts.
He is said to be part of the crew that sneaks narcotics into the country from the neighbouring countries. He is currently detained at Mukamira police station.
Supt. Hermes Murayire, the District Police Commander, who confirmed the arrest, said strategies were put in place to combat drug related cases.
