Photos: President Kagame visits Morocco

{President Paul Kagame is on a two-day visit in Morocco where he was invited by King Mohammed VI.}

The visit aims at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Rwanda and Morocco are set to open embassies of both sides which is considered another milestone to improving cooperation as Morocco plans to delegate representatives in African countries and in Latin America.

It is said that the invitation to visit Morocco was prompted by Rwanda’s initiative of supporting ideas shared by Morocco when Rwanda was in the United Nations Security Council.

This adds to the role of president Kagame in stopping 1994 genocide perpetrated against Tutsi and helping Rwanda’s population in reconciliation process.
