People intending to destabilize Rwanda will not succeed—Kaboneka

The Minister of Local Government, Francis Kaboneka has warned people with an ill-intention of threatening state security to desist from such because they will not succeed. He passed the warning yesterday as he visited Ngororero district on a working tour aimed at hearing and addressing citizens’ concerns as well as assessing the level of decentralization of service delivery.

The remarks were prompted by the recent incident of May 30th, 2016 where a cow keeper, Bigirimana Hertier in Muhanda sector of Ngororero district wrongly accused neighbours of being infiltrators owning guns out of anger for suspecting them to have stolen his phone.

Bigirimana has since accepted to have told a lie about his neighbours.

Kaboneka told Ngororero residents to work together avoiding whoever may threaten their security and requested them to avoid false accusations against neighbors.
“People intending to threaten Rwanda’s security are dreaming,” he said.
