Youth will be present in all districts of the country and their contribution will be more focused on the areas of socio-economic development identified and prioritized by each district.
The Mayor of Rwamagana District, Uwimana Nehemie has urged parents in the District to send their children to the services adding that Rwamagana is fully prepared to start the program.
He said that Parents should make sure that their children are available to participate in National Services.
Among activities to be conducted include sensitization about drug abuse, reducing illiteracy, rehabilitation of houses of vulnerable families among others.
The Minister of Local Government James Musoni says young school finalists will begin national voluntary services on 21st January 2013 and it will last 3 months.
