His death has been confirmed by his family which announced that the mourning is being held at his home in Nyarutarama.
Rusera is the owner of Gorilla Hotels in Rwanda. In 2012, he opened Gorilla Golf in Nyarutarama, Kigali City.
At the time, Rusera disclosed that he drew investment’s inspiration from advises of President Paul Kagame who urges Rwandans and Africans to strive for self-reliance without waiting for foreign support.
He owned four hotels under Gorilla brand.
