{The Congolese Refugee Commission has said it repatriated 711 Rwandan refugees between 1st August and 30 September this year. }
The commission said in its statement that among the returnees there are forty-seven (47) men two hundred and sixty-five (265) women, one hundred and seventy-six (176) boys and two hundred and three (213) girls.
According to the information got from Rwanda News Agency these returnees are from the sites of Mweso, Masisi, Nyanzale, Kalengera and Kiwanja in Rutshuru territory (North -Kivu), in addition to the site of Kalungu and Kalehe territory (South Kivu).
This year, from January 1 to September 30, three thousand five hundred and thirty (3530) Rwandan refugees regrouped in 1503 households were repatriated on a voluntary basis and in accordance with humanitarian principles, says the statement of Congolese Refugee Commission.
