The Primary School National Exams that began today will run from 4th to 6th November 2019.
Statistics from Rwanda Education Board(REB) indicate that candidates increased by12% where 286,087 pupils are registered to sit for Primary School National Exams up from 255,173 of last year.
Girls’ representation is 154 339 while the number of male candidates is 131 748.
The exams have been launched at the national level by Dr. Munyakazi at Groupe Scolaire Kimisagara in Nyarugenge district, a site hosting 927 candidates from five schools.
Dr. Munyakazi reminded them that acquired knowledge will be measured by their success following exam results.
He expressed optimism that students will undoubtedly perform well due to enough time given for preparations.
