Maize farmers in Nyamasheke District specifically in Kagano Sector are happy for getting a place to dry their maize which will boost maize production.
The executive secretary of Kagano sector Jean Damascene Nshimiyimana said that through land consolidation, maize productivity has increased in the sector but farmers have been lacking where to dry their maize.
A spacious drying place was set up in Kagano sector.
