The district Mayor Mugisha Philbert says the centre will play a key role in improving service delivery, accountability and team work.
District officials added that the centre will bring together different stakeholders and each development partner of the District will be represented at the centre.
Residents commended the initiative noting that some of challenges will be resolved as soon as local authorities together with development partners will be working together giving services.
Mayor Mugisha noted that the centre will contribute to the achievement of performance contracts commending that at the end of September, 2012 the District has already achieved 25% of its performances.
The District Performance Contracts for the year 2012-2013 capture essential socio-economic and political activities mainly, infrastructure development, agriculture and livestock productivity, environment protection through terracing, education by increasing enrolment, construction of classrooms for 9YBE, resolved communal conflicts and reduced unnecessary court backlogs to mention a few.
