Ngororero: Cell and sector executive secretaries suspended

{The Minister of Local Government, Francis Kaboneka has sacked local leaders in Ngororero district including Mbanjimbere Innocent, the executive secretary of Muhanda sector and Nyiramahano Marie Chantal, the executive secretary of Bugarura cell, accused of beating and hurting one resident of the area. }

Ngororero residents have also accused the sector executive secretary of taking away three cows of a citizen saying they are part of the Girinka program whereas not.
On the other hand, the cell executive secretary, Nyiramahano has been accused of building a house on the land of another resident.

Minister Kaboneka has ruled that Mbanjimbere hands back the confiscated cows to the owner.

“We can’t tolerate leaders oppressing citizens, they will not return as leaders among you,” said Kaboneka.

Talking to journalists, Kaboneka said that the accused leaders will be followed up by Ngororero district for further action.
