Residents said many Tutsis were killed and thrown in the deep pit located at Nduba Sector.
Karamuzi Godfrey, the Executive Secretary of Nduba Sector, said that the residents will feel relieved as soon a memorial site is built at the site of Rwabayanga.
Karamuzi was speaking to the commemoration of more than 1000 Tutsi killed in 1994 many of whom were dumped in Rwabayanga pit.
The event was characterized by reading the names of victims and the testimonies of survivors.
