{Christians of Ndera Catholic Parish in Gasabo District have completed Rwf 209 Million church.}
The church was constructed by Christians themselves through their contributions as well as the support of Archdiocese of Kigali.
They said the new modern church is a result of their commitment and faithfulness as Christians that are united in the same church of God.
Speaking to media, Father Patrice Twagirayezu said that each Christian has contributed about Rwf 13,000 to be able to complete the church building.
He said their contribution is a sign of what they believe in as Christians.
The Archbishop of Kigali, Thadee Ntihinyurwa says he was surprised by the new modern church and commends the Christians for the energy invested in construction activities.
A Government official who was present in the official inaugural ceremony of the church said the new church building shows how unity brings to tangible results.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government, Alvera Mukabaramba reminded Christians to use the same energy in many other government activities taking into consideration their personal development as well as the development of the country.
The new church has 1500 seats while the replaced one had only 800 seats.
