Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni will be Tuesday in Bujumbura to attempt mediation between the government and the opposition, which is against Pierre Nkurunziza seeking a third term in thepresidential election postponed to 21 July.
Salvator Ntacobamaze, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation of Burundi, told Reuters on Monday that the details of the discussions had not yet been released, but the Ugandan head of state would be in Bujumbura Tuesday.
