It is said that the young man might have committed suicide over property related disputes with his parents.
He was found dead hanging yesterday in his sleeping room with the African traditional print wrapper fastened on the roof.
The Executive Secretary of Cyuve sector, Janvier Bisengimana has said that the body was taken to Ruhengeri Hospital for postmortem.
“It is true that we found the young man hanging inside his room. The young man is suspected to have committed suicide due to land related disputes with parents. His body has been taken to Ruhengero Hospital for autopsy,” he said.
Bisengimana appealed on residents to solve disputes early or seek local leaders’ intervention to prevent suicide cases.
