{{Police in Ruhago District yesterday arrested one Narcisse Nsengiyumva 33 for allegedly assaulting a man which resulted into death.}}
Nsengiyumva allegedly battered Toringabo Nsengiyumva, 60 which resulted into his death.The suspect is detained at Ruhango District.
The incident occurred on January 4, at about 07:00pm, when Nsengiyumva allegedly caught the deceased stealing cassava in his garden.
The deceased was confirmed dead in Ruhango hospital where he had been evacuated for treatment.
According to Ruhango District Police Commander (DPC) Superintendent Paul Gatambira, however case may be caused by a citizen, one should notrender justice by himself/herself ,there are relevant authorizes and laws in place where justice can be referred to.
If found guilty and convicted, Narcisse Nsengiyumva will face an imprisonment sentence between (10) years to fifteen (15) years in jail according to article 151 of the Rwandan Penal Code.
