The accident claimed lives of three people as the commercial motorbike driver and the passenger he was carrying also died.
The accident took place at Kivumu, in Muhanga.
The traffic and road safety department spokesperson, IP Emmanuel Kabanda confirmed the news saying that the three died in the accident.
“It happened as the motorbike that was carried by Ntaganira collided with a commercial motorbike and all died,” he said.
The commercial motorcycle driver was from Muhanga heading to Kamonyi District and caused an accident while trying to overtake a car.
