{MTN Rwanda has shared the joys of festive season with holiday makers from different sectors of Kigali as a way of explaining and taking closer to them ’Yolo’ program inaugurated for the youth. }
The youth with various talents were awarded throughout the party held yesterday at Maison de Jeunes in Kimisagara.
The ceremony was also attended by artists who entertained the gathered youth.
During this ceremony, MTN awarded the youth with various talents in dancing, singing where after participants were engaged in competitions of distinct games and received awards including school kits ,money, Tecno mobile phones among others.
Charly, Nina and rapper Riderman were among artists who entertained the crowd.
Alain Numa, the promotions executive at MTN Rwanda has said that MTN opened doors for the youth in need of jobs and trainings adding that they will increase collaboration with youth centers to support them.
“ It is the first time we are working with you and it becomes the official opening of doos; What we did today was a trial to see whether you participate in such activities. We are going to analyze more things to be done for you in 2017,”he said.
The event was attended by the executive secretary for the National Youth Council, Mwesigwa Robert who highlighted that in collaboration with MTN Rwanda, the Ministry of Youth and ICT will be closer to supporting the youth with various talents and promoting the use of ICT.
During the event, MTN Rwanda explained ’Yolo’ package offered to customers at cheapest price in internet or calling services.
’Yolo’ was introduced for the youth between 16 and 24 years old where users dial *154# to use MTN Yolo.
