More Congolese Civilians fleeing into Rwanda

The Rwanda Ministry of Disaster Management and Refugees, says about 250 inhabitants of the city of Goma have fled to Rwanda across the border from Goma.

They are now in Nkamira camp in Rwanda.

Refugees said they are fleeing the fighting currently taking place in the territory of Masisi.

These Congolese flee fighting by armed Congolese militia of Nyatura, Raia Mutomboki and Mai Mai who engage in abuses against Congolese speaking Kinyarwanda.

From 16 December, the number of these Congolese refugees has increased.

Currently, there are new signs of another war in Goma capital.
The warmongers said there are fighting M23 rebellion against Kinshasa Government.

The Political Directorate of the March 23 Movement (M23) expressed concern about the growing threat of negative forces against the civilian population, and the rumor about the possibility of the resumption of war throws on the way to exile the inhabitants of the town of Goma, said a statement of the rebel movement this Wednesday.

“In recent days, a significant movement of whole units of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) is observed on the axis from Bibwe to Goma,” said the statement, adding that at present “these forces reside in communities of Karuba Mushaki located approximately 40 km from the city of Goma.”

From the M23 says a veritable manhunt was launched against defenseless people under the pretext that they would work with the M23.

M23 rebels took control last November 20 in the city of Goma and left at the request of the Heads of State of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), met on 24 November in Kampala.
