{Rwanda has made considerable efforts to provide more facilities to taxpayers by introducing online services (E-Payment and E-Filling) and M-Payment where taxpayers can pay their taxes using their Mobile phones.}
About 42 thousands of taxpayers in Rwanda use ICTs during Tax declaration and payment process.
Among them seventeen thousands use their mobile phones while others use their computers to get tax related online services.
This has reduced the time spent at Rwanda Revenue Bureau comparing to past.
Currently Rwanda is in charge of promoting the use of ICT to fast track the single customs territory to boost business among the partner states.
Last Year Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Rwanda have launched a single customs territory to boost business among the partner states, agreeing to eliminate the remaining non-tariff barriers.
