Minister Nsengimana urges Youth to be apt in any Circumstance

{{The Minister of Youth and ICT Jean Philbert Nsengimana has urged the youth to be apt in any circumstance. }}

He was addressing the National Youth Council General Assembly on June 7, aimed at formulating strategies that need to be fine-tuned to meet national development requirements for youth.

The General Assembly brings together National Youth Council committees at national levels to evaluate and address youth issues.

Minister Nsengimana urged the youth; “Be focused on available opportunities to achieve more, let’s embrace the mindset change to be very successful in everything you’re doing …”

“In any circumstance, take a position even if you may find that you have chosen a wrong side, you can correct yourself instead of staying inapt,” The minister emphasized.

The General Assembly involves youth leaders in aspects of good governance and full participation in hard working which respond to National Youth Policy.

Under the theme “The Promise of a Generation“ or in Kinyarwanda “Igihango cy’Urungano”, the 16th General Assembly will be the occasion to evaluate the ongoing activities focusing youth to think of their contribution in the upcoming EDPRS II as to provide the Youth with their inputs towards sustainable development.

The Assembly is time for the Rwandan Youth to discuss and take measures to strengthen the socio – economic development through building peace and reconciliation among Rwandans; sharing experience and learn from each other on how to generate more wealth.

The General Assembly is an organ of the National Youth Council which is at the national, District, and cell levels.
