Minister Musoni Urges Rwandans on Self Reliance

{{The Minister of local Government James Musoni reaffirmed that Rwandans should fight for self reliance.}}

Musoni noted while presenting on how to ‘Promote Principles and Values of Self-Reliance in Rwanda’ at the 10th National Dialogue.

“Self-reliance means being able to depend on ourselves and having our own plans for development,”He said.

He added that Rwandans will continue to broaden and strengthen external relations for peace, security, trade and investment.

“We must demonstrate a high level of professionalism,” Musoni urged.

He added that for Rwanda to be truly successful, self-reliance must be engrained in the way they conduct business.

Minister Musoni praises values of Rwandans that have led overcoming poverty by 12% in this year.

“Rwandans are also happy on how they are involved in solving social problems.”

He added that Rwanda’s home grown solutions like Gacaca, Ubudehe, Girinka etc. have played a key role in our development.

Confidence in Rwanda’s judicial independence stands at 84%-Musoni said.
