Minister Musoni represents Kagame in Dar es Salam Central Corridor Meeting

{Rwanda’s Minister of Infrastructure James Musoni represented President Kagame in “Central Corridor Presidential Round Table and High Level Industry and Investor Forum held in Dar es Salaam on 25 March 2015.}

The conference which continues this Thursday, was attended by the host President Jakaya Kikwete, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Pierre Nkurunziza of Burundi, Kenya was represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amina Mohammed and Rwanda was represented by the Minister of Infrastructure, James Musoni and DRC was represented by the Minister of Infrastructure , Justine Mwanangongo

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, President Kikwete said several projects will be launched to continue to integrate regional countries to be able to grow more economical and effective for their development.

Representing President Paul Kagame, Minister of Infrastructure, James Musoni said the views of President Kagame is to see economic development in the Central corridor and that this meeting adds strength and stability in the partnership.

He said regular consultations at the level of heads of state help to accelerate and increase efforts to bring about development and that, Rwanda to work hands in hands with other countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Amina Mohammed who represented President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kenya is taking part to show the solidarity with Heads of State in the region.

Heads of State Launch OF Railways assets linking four countries in the Central Corridor

Minister Mohammed said the terms of the transport sector is vital to the interests of the countries of the region and that the conference will enable to identify existing gaps in the industry and which needs to be filled for the benefit and the benefit of the citizens of these countries.
