Minister Mushikiwabo criticizes Hollande’s attitude in Dakar

{Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Louise Mushikiwabo, has criticized the paternalistic tone of the head of the French state who warned “African leaders” in his speech delivered before the heads of state and government, mostly African, meeting in the fifteenth Francophonie Summit in Dakar.}

Speaking to France 24 shortly after the meeting, Minister Mushikiwabo said “”I find it annoying that a president who is with his peers here at Francophonie summit does not come talk to them, but to dictate what should happen in their country,” she explained France 24

France President said in his speech that his country is concerned about democracy in African countries as well as gives a warning address to the leaders who want to cling on power at any cost.

For Louise Mushikiwabo it is better to know “Who decides on the political future of Africans?” “It’s not Paris, obviously.”

Francois Holland in his speech shows what can be called western supremacy where he said ‘I came to Dakar to tell Africans…’ for Rwanda’s Minister this “is not normal! We are in 2014!” she told France 24.
