Some suspects including relatives of the deceased and those he ha been drinking beer with have been arrested in connection with the murder.
Bizimana’s blood soaked lifeless body with a pounded head was discovered at about 800meters away from the trading center populary known as “ku iperu”where they had been drinking from.
On the fateful day, Bizimana had returned from work at Rutongo a mining company in the area.
The Masoro sector Executive secretary Jean Nepomuscene confirmed to IGIHE that Bizimana had been killed by stoning and suspects including his relatives are currently on the run.
Meanwhile, the executive secretary at Kivugiza cell in Masoro Sector of Rulindo district has been forced to resign due to poor performance.
Ndahayo Pierre is accused of failing to rehabilitate the badly damaged infrastructure in the area of his jurisdiction.
The district mayor Justus Kangwagye accused the sector leader of failing to moblise residents to participate in communal work but instead spend most of their time engaged in mining activities.
