The suspect is alleged to have attacked his wife and after realizing that she wasn’t breathing, he also used petrol and burnt himself to death. It was later discovered that the woman was in comma and was rescued and taken to a nearby health center.
Neighbours say its not yet clear what could have caused the disagreement between the couple. The woman is still in comma and would provide information about the incidence after recovery.
Gahano JMV the Executive Secretary at Kageyo sector told IGIHE that the couple was known to be calm and had no disputes. However, he added that there was some form of misunderstanding between the man and his elder brother. “we are shocked about the sad incident. The couple was not drunkards”.
Police has said, they are investigating the matter.
