Police in Musanze District is holding a woman and her son an accomplice suspected to have a hand in the murder of her husband.
Bayavuge Agnes 47, and her son Ntakiyimana Innocent are said to have murdered Ntawukizwanuwe Jean de Dieu. Both suspects are currently detained at Busogo Police station in Musanze district.
The two suspects who have also denied any involvement in the murder of Ntawukizwanuwe , are residents of Murago village located in Gataragara sector.
Ntawukizwanuwe is said to have returned home drunk. Bayavuge claimed she suspected she would be battered by her husband then she sought help from her son. When the son arrived home, he tied up his father and beat him up.
However, Ntakiyimana denies killing his father said he left his dad fine at home before he went to his grandparents place on returning he found killed by Bayavuge.
Both suspects accuse each other of murdering Ntawukizwanuwe.
