Following recent security situation in Rubavu District, where DRC army bombed into Rwandan territory and killed two Rwandan citizens,
the Minister of Local Government James Musoni today, 21st Nov rushed to visit Rubavu on compassionate and solidarity grounds to assess the situation.
Before departing from Kigali, Minister Musoni said that his visit is part of his mission as Minister of Local Government.
“All Rwandans, especially residents from Rubavu now must be assured that their security is guaranteed and nothing would stop Government programs.”
Minister Musoni added that his message to residents is of compassion and solidarity to the affected families.
He calls for peaceful cohabitation as Rwandans have always demonstrated unity and reconciliation.
