{Rwandan female artist Butera Jeanne d’Arc also known as Knowless has requested girls not to listen to sugar daddies that, she says, they use tricks such as money in an exchange for sex.}
Butera Knowless was speaking to Gatsibo youth as a part of the celebration of the International Day for Girl-Child on 21st Oct. 2014.
After a live performance, Knowless warned that “Nowadays, there are so many things that happened to young girls, where sugar daddies give diverse stuff to girls including money in exchange for sex.”
Butera told young girls, in Gatsibo, to avoid such men as far as their healthy future is concerned.
She advised Gatsibo Girls to learn how to say a real “NO” to sugar daddies.
“We have to be able to say “No” as girls. Even if you did not eat at night and someone wants to deceive you by using money, don’t hesitate to tell him “NO”.”
