Chief agronomist of Kinazi Cassava factory located in Muhanga District, Justin Ngoga has emphasized the factory produces quality flour urging Rwandans to consume it.
Kinazi factory plans to extend its market to Districts that mostly cultivate cassava including;Muhanga, Gisagara, Kamonyi, Bugesera, Nyanza and Ruhango.
Ngoga says that Kinazi Cassava factory has a capacity of transforming 60 tonnes of raw cassava within 10 hours per day.
Farmers receive Frw 55 per Kg of raw cassava while a kg of transformed flour is purchased from Kinazi industry at Frw 354. And one kg in Kigali cost about Frw 500.
