Kimonyo Presents Credentials to Kenyan President

Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Kenya James Kimonyo has presented credentials to President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday at State House in Nairobi.

Apart from Kimonyo, Kenyetta also welcomed other 12 new envoys who are Turkish Ambassador Deniz Eke, Australian High Commissioner John Matthew Feakes, South African High Commissioner Koleka Anita Mqulwana, Kuwaiti Ambassador Qusai Rashed Al-Farhan, Czech Ambassador Pavel Rezac and Senegalese Ambassador Abdoul Wahab Haidara.

Others were Ambassador Beatrice Kankindi (Burundi), High Commissioner Perks Ligoya (Malawi), Ambassador Dina Mufti Sid (Ethiopia), Ambassador Prasittiporn Wetprasit (Thailand) and Ambassador Laszlo Eduard Mathe (Hungary).

Receiving the envoys, Uhuru expressed his government’s commitment to working closely with them to enhance cooperation between Kenya and their respective countries.

“I am looking forward to working closely with you in not only enhancing relations between our countries but also for the mutual benefit of the people of our countries,” Uhuru said.
