Kigali City Council has announced that new infrastructure facilities will be established in the sectors of Kimironko of Gasabo District and Gahanga Sector in Kicukiro District.
New foreign hotels are expected to be built in Gahanga.
For Kimironko and Remera, the area will host various infrastructures such as schools, entertainment facilities and Kimironko market will be upgraded so that it matches with the city Master plan.
Speaking to IGIHE, Liliane Mupende Uwanziga, Director of Urban Planning and Construction at City of Kigali has warned residents of the area to note that they are not allowed to build new infrastructures without complying with the Master plan.
