{One person whose identity has not been established has this morning perished in an accident that involved a truck hitting a Toyota Hilux car which carried bananas and a stationary coaster with passengers. It is said that one person died on the spot and other passengers severely injured. }
The accident took place this morning in Bumbogo sector, Kinyaga cell in location known as ‘Kwa Nayinzira’.
One passenger who was at the scene has told IGIHE that the truck’s brake system might have failed to function and the driver lost control, hitting the two vehicles in the process.
IGIHE could not get a comment from the traffic police spokesperson as his known telephone line off.
