{ {{KIGALI-GATSATA}} : A Child has died and parents are in Kibagabaga Hospital after they have eaten poisoned meal on Friday.}
The incident was reported in Gatsata sector in Gasabo District.
According to neighbors, the family of Twizeyimana Etienne and Uwashema, both residents of Gatsata, was served a contaminated sombé which resulted in the death of their child and apart from the child three family members are currently hospitalized except the Housemaid.
Residents suspected that the maid has put the poison into the meal although until now there is no official statement which confirms whether the food was contaminated.
Meanwhile it is well known that when Sombé is not boiled enough it can cause health damages as it has a hydrocyanic acid (HCN) which is poisonous to the body
