A few hours after the death of Sergeant Ngabu his lawyer Augustin Kisambo, demanded an autopsy on the body of the soldier.
He felt that the results could set the view on the allegations that the soldier, who was considered the “black box” in this case would have been poisoned so it does not make the truth about true motives for the killing of Colonel Mamadou Ndala in an attack on January 2 in Beni.
The prosecution said with the death of the accused, the prosecution may be turned off.
