Kenyan ambassador to Rwanda, John Mwangemi along with various Kenyans working in Rwanda yesterday joined employees of African Logistics Company in a monthly community work carried out in Kamahwa village, Nyarutarama cell of Remera sector.
Kenyans that participated in the monthly community work said the work denotes good cooperation and highlighted how important it is to emulate the practice.
The Kenyan ambassador to Rwanda, John Mwangemi told IGIHE that the community work was meant to boost socialization of Rwandans and Kenyans through working together in the promotion of hygiene practices.
“We are willing to participate in activities of this country. We know that the community work is an initiative Rwandans embraced to address their own challenges. We request Kenyans living in Rwanda to launch such activities when they return to their country,” said John Mwangemi.
The director of Panafrican Logistics, Abdou Mbaya, said that participating in community work by all people is an act that shows how Rwanda is becoming a model in mobilizing people around a common goal.
African Logistics has been operating in Rwanda for three years, offering transportation and other logistical services.
“We transport goods, luggage and other movable assets on water, in air and land; ensuring their total security and keeping the client posted all the time as to where they have reached and when they’ll arrive,” said Mbaya.
African Logistics operates in various countries including Burundi, DRC, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, China, and Dubai where they’re very competitive in the respective markets.
