The body was found yesterday in Abemeramahoro village, Bwiza cell of Mukarange sector.
The executive secretary of Mukarange sector, Murekezi Claude has told IGIHE that the body was first seen by children collecting firewood.
“It is a body of unidentified man in the age bracket of 30 found in the water drainage channel. He was seen by children collecting firewood after the rain stopped falling. They alerted us and rushed to the scene,” he said.
He revealed that the body was taken to Gahini Hospital for postmortem as Rwanda Investigation Bureau investigates the case to establish cause of the death.
Another man’s body was retrieved from River Akagera last week in Kayonza district.
