According to his wife Uwantege Petronille, the deceased had complained that he was not feeling well on Saturday when his wife requested him that the whole family goes to church for prayers.
Uwantege told IGIHE that when the other members of the family went to church, Munyanziza stayed at home alone and on return they found him hanging dead with a rope around his neck.
According to the Cyabajwa cell Executive Secretary Nzabangamba Viateur, the deceased had no known wrangles with anybody.
Nzabangamba told IGIHE that neighbours, family members and other colleagues of the deceased were contacted for any clues leading to the suicide of Munyanziza but all said had no known clues that could have led him to terminate his life.
family members told IGIHE that when they returned from church, they found the main Gate open but other doors of the house locked. they spent the whole saturday night in the living room.
However, on Sunday, the wife of the deceased decided to break the lock to one of the rooms when she found a can containing crop pest control chemical diluted with water.
Munyanziza could have drunk this chemical and later hanged himself with a rope ending his life.
