Their arrest has been communicated in a message released via Twitter handle in the morning of Wednesday 17th November 2021.
RIB has revealed that the executive secretary and the cooperative’s president are detained at Nyagatare RIB Post as investigation is underway to send their files to the Prosecution.
Rwandans have been reminded against such vice that whoever tends to drag himself/herself into such crimes will face serious penalties as per legal provisions.
RIB has also urged the general public to continue denouncing corruption.
