Kagame to Speak at Milken Institute Global Conference on Investment in Africa

In a session chaired by the institute founder, Michael Milken, President Kagame will address hundreds of participants on “Investing in African Prosperity” alongside Bill Gates and Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The President will also chair a corporate and investment roundtable with key private equity investors.

With over three thousand participants, 600 panellists and 140 sessions, the Milken Institute Global Conference aims to address issues ranging from finance to government, medical research and education, with the aim of providing insight and actionable information.

This year’s participants include notable personalities like Carlos Slim, Magic Johnson and leaders in the US Senate and House of Representatives alongside a dozen members of Congress.

Participating also are CEOs of major companies, institutional investors with $18 trillion in assets, as well as Nobel Laureates.

The Milken Institute was founded in 1990s by Michael Milken and Lowell Milken with the aim of capitalizing on the ability of capital markets to solve social and economic challenges through innovative economic and policy solutions and focus on job creation, access to capital and health.
